My Three Parahraph Autobiography

Relative Relevance

Hello, my name is Tim Anfilofieff. I have lived in the United States of America my entire life. I have other informational features, but I will not express them here. I do not wish to associate my visage with my creations, hence why I created the character to represent me. I only give out my real name and country of residence for legal reasons, otherwise I would be completely anoynmous. This is just a choice of expression and privacy, feel free to refer to me by my real name if you so wish. Obviously, I'm not going to share a picture of my face here, but there is one (and only one with my permission) that I posted somewhere on the internet. If you are curious, then feel free to search it out.

I started making computer games back in 2013, and published my first game on Newgrounds in 2015. Everywhere online I go by the alias JauqGames (or just Jauq). As far as I can remember, this is how the name came to be: back in 2011 I participated in the Minecraft Beta where I originally chose the name "Jauq" by completely arbitrary means, now it has stuck with me as my username of choice. Almost 10 years later I decide to rename myself to JauqGames in most cases, to closer associate myself with my primary creations and first choice of entertainment.

I make games, hence the latter portion of the name. In regards to that, I make every part of those games. The code, the music, the art and any other part important to the project. My dream would be to be able to make games to financially support myself leading a team of creators. Currently this is not possible, but I hold out for a day when it could be. Yet, if it never is, I will still be satisfied with what I can make currently. I also love to play games. I remember 3D platformers on the PS2 fondly, and when I eventually got into PC gaming, open worlds and sandbox games were amazing experiences. I've recently gotten into roguelikes and action RPGs as well. In general, there are few genres of video games that I don't enjoy.
